Restaurant management software
Restaurant management software, built for multi-unit operators.
Nexora is a restaurant management platform for groups running three locations to three thousand — sales, labour, inventory and profit and loss in one data model, updated daily instead of at month end.
What this actually means
One system, not five spreadsheets
Most multi-unit operators do not lack data — they have a POS, a payroll system, a vendor portal and a bank feed, each reporting a different number for what should be the same figure. Restaurant management software's job is to reconcile those into one store-level P&L, so “how did store 4 do this week” has one answer, not four. Nexora is not a point-of-sale system, not a payroll provider and not a general-ledger accounting package. It reads an existing point of sale, prices the schedule against it, reconciles purchases and expenses, and produces a store-level profit and loss. Most customers keep their existing POS, payroll provider and accountant.
What it covers
The five things it should do
Daily P&L
Store-level profit and loss from gross sales to net income, not a monthly close six weeks after the fact.
Labour control
Hours, overtime and labour cost by store, with risk surfaced while the week is still running rather than at payroll.
Inventory & food cost
Counted stock against what the vendor invoiced, feeding cost of goods straight into the P&L.
Forecasting
A sales and labour forecast built from the store’s own history, not an industry average.
Cross-store analytics
Every location on the same definitions, ranked, so the gap between the best and worst store is visible without reconciling spreadsheets by hand.
Role-scoped access
A store manager sees their store; an area manager sees their region — set once, on the role, not maintained page by page.
Questions
What operators ask about this
What is restaurant management software?
Restaurant management software is a system that runs the operating side of a restaurant business — sales, labour, inventory and profit and loss — across one or more locations, in place of tracking each in a separate spreadsheet or point tool.
Is restaurant management software the same as a POS system?
No. A point-of-sale system takes orders and payments at the till. Restaurant management software reads what the POS already recorded — sales, labour punches, sometimes inventory — and turns it into store-level reporting: prime cost, labour percentage, variance against budget. Nexora reads an existing POS rather than replacing it.
Do I need restaurant management software for one location?
Usually not. Below about three locations, a well-kept spreadsheet still copes, because one person can hold the whole picture in their head. Nexora is built for multi-unit operators — three locations up to three thousand — where the same question (which store is losing margin, and why) stops being answerable by memory.
