One location, one period
What this leaves out
An operating snapshot, not a full accounting P&L
This calculator stops at EBITDA deliberately — depreciation, interest and tax depend on financing and asset decisions this single-period tool has no visibility into. For the operating measures that actually predict whether a location is working — prime cost, gross profit — it's a fast, honest estimate.
Questions
What operators ask about this
What does this P&L calculator actually compute?
Gross profit, prime cost and an EBITDA estimate from net sales, cost of goods, labour cost and other operating expenses you enter — a single-period snapshot, not a full accounting P&L with depreciation, interest and tax.
Why does it say 'EBITDA estimate' rather than net income?
Because net income also depends on depreciation, interest and tax, which this calculator doesn't ask for. EBITDA — earnings before those items — is the closest operating-level figure this simple version can produce responsibly.
Is this what Nexora shows for a live location?
This is a quick, single-period estimate from numbers you type in. Nexora builds the equivalent P&L daily, by store, from POS, payroll and vendor data directly — reconciled, not estimated.
